By using REC you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, not intimidating.

What REC is

REC is a recommendation tool for TV, film, and podcasts. It uses AI to suggest picks based on what you tell it you like. Recommendations are subjective — we make no guarantees that you'll enjoy what we suggest.

Your account

You must provide a real email address to create an account.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
You must be 13 or older to use REC.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from REC.
Reverse-engineer or attempt to access the underlying recommendation logic or APIs.
Use automated tools to make requests to REC at scale.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
Use REC for any unlawful purpose.

Our content and technology

The recommendation engine, prompts, algorithms, and logic that power REC are proprietary. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to copy, reproduce, or replicate them. Using REC does not give you access to or rights over the technology behind it.

No warranties

REC is provided as-is. We don't guarantee the service will be available at all times, error-free, or that any recommendation will meet your expectations. Use it at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, REC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to disappointment with a recommendation.

Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue REC at any time. We may also update these terms — if we make significant changes we'll update the date above.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
